Rendezvu is on a mission to transform the skiing experience by connecting enthusiasts of all levels through a community-driven platform. By merging detailed trail information with social connectivity, Rendezvu helps skiers find their perfect runs, connect with like-minded enthusiasts, and share their mountain experiences.

Additionally, Rendezvu is building a vibrant community where skiers can track their progress, share accomplishments, and connect with others who share their passion. Whether planning a trip with longtime friends or meeting new skiing companions, the platform streamlines the entire process from discovery to on-mountain experience.

Developing a platform that aims to revolutionize the skiing experience

The challenge of planning ski trips often involves navigating multiple disconnected resources: checking weather forecasts on one site, researching trail maps on another, coordinating with friends through various messaging apps, and finding new skiing companions and guides through separate social channels. This fragmentation creates friction that diminishes the joy of skiing and creates barriers to entry for newcomers to the sport.

Rendezvu's product aims to solve this problem by offering a unified platform that brings together detailed trail information, experts, social connections, and trip planning tools in one cohesive experience. To realize this vision, we helped them develop an experience that seamlessly integrates these elements while prioritizing user goals and needs.

A brand thats an epitome of connectivity, people, places, and movement

We crafted a brand identity for Rendezvu that embodies connection, passion, community, and adventure, positioning the platform as more than a utility—it's a facilitator of authentic skiing experiences that brings people together. Through collaborative workshops, we established Rendezvu's unique position at the intersection of connection, discovery and meaningful experiences.

The logo mark is derived from four key elements:

Place: A sense of belonging to a destination
People: Community-driven connections
Adventure: A versatile shape suggesting mountains and meeting points
Freeform: Inspired by calligraphic 'R' to represent connectivity

The visual system reflects the organic nature of both skiing and human connections, balancing structure with spontaneity. Fluid, interconnecting elements symbolizes the natural connections and skiing organic paths.

This dynamic element creates a lasting impression of belonging and nostalgia, while the complementary wordmark balances fluidity and precision. Together, they embody the brand promise: with Rendezvu, everyone finds a home where memories are cherished and experiences are shared.

Product design
Building a product that every skier around the world would love

After user research, we identified key pain points in the current skiing experience and opportunities for meaningful innovation. And with competitive analysis we realized that while there were apps for tracking ski stats and separate platforms for social connections, no solution successfully combined detailed trail information with community features and mentorship in a way that enhanced the entire skiing journey.

Key features and solutions

Based on this framework, we designed and developed key product features to address each strategic pillar:


We created an intuitive, interactive trail detail experience that goes beyond static trail maps. The interface provides rich information about each run, including difficulty ratings, current conditions, user reviews, and photography—giving skiers a comprehensive understanding before they hit the slopes.


The social core of Rendezvu connects users based on compatibility factors beyond just skiing ability. Users can join existing events or create their own, with functionality supporting both planned trips and spontaneous meetups that foster authentic connections on the mountain.

For on-slope use, we developed a streamlined mobile experience optimized for harsh mountain conditions. The design accommodates offline modes for areas with limited connectivity, ensuring critical features remain accessible even without internet access.


We also bridged the knowledge gap between experts and newcomers by creating a platform where experienced skiers can share their expertise. The guide experience allows skilled skiers to monetize their knowledge while helping others explore and learn, creating a mentorship ecosystem that makes skiing more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Saba and her team at Deztopia worked incredibly hard to help us bring Rendezvu to life. From the start, they were thoughtful about how our brand story could be reflected not just in the visuals, but in the product experience itself.
